Pollo, Asado and Carnitas Tacos at Tacos Mexico in Las Vegas!

     There are plenty of authentic Mexican taco shops in Las Vegas.  One of my favorite taco shops in Las Vegas is Tacos Mexico.  Tacos Mexico offers some great authentic Mexican street vendor style tacos at a reasonable price!
     You won't find fast food style tacos that are made with ground beef at Tacos Mexico.  The taco meats at Tacos Mexico are cooked the old fashioned way with traditional methods.  Savory beef or pork asado is slow cooked and the meat is very tender.  Chicken is slow cooked till the meat easily shreds.  The pork carnitas are pan fried, full of flavor and very tender.
     The traditional soft corn tortillas are warmed on a grill.  There are two soft thin small tortillas per taco.  Serving two soft tortillas as a taco is a true Mexican style that is traditional for tacos asado or any slow cooked taco.
     Chopped onion and cilantro is the traditional topping for tacos.  Cheese or guacamole costs extra.  The great selection of meats and cooking styles is the main attraction of the menu items at Tacos Mexico.  The taco meats taste so good, that it is not necessary to add extra ingredients to the tacos!
     Tacos Mexico offers fried fish, burritos and many other items.  I usually cannot get past the taco section of the menu board when I am deciding what to order.  The tacos are the main attraction!
     There are several Tacos Mexico locations in Las Vegas.  Many locations are open 24 hours a day!  I dined at the Tacos Mexico at Sahara near Valley View yesterday.  I usually go to the Tacos Mexico that is located at the intersection of Main Street and Las Vegas Boulevard.  That location gets plenty of business from the Las Vegas Strip.  Late at night and early in the morning, the party animals from the Las Vegas night clubs like to go to Tacos Mexico to get a bite to eat.  A strange wild mix of people munching on tacos late at night is regular business in Las Vegas!  That Tacos Mexico Las Vegas Strip location on a Sunday morning has a fun mixture of early church goers, tattered party animals, tattoos, high heels and fishnets!  I've been there in party animal mode a few times and the clerks behind the counter have a look on their faces like they have seen it all before!
     Tacos are fun!  A 24 hour taco shop is a welcome sight in Las Vegas.  The tacos at Tacos Mexico are  much better than fast food style tacos!  The recent trend of chefs lauding street vendor style food, like tacos goes to show how much respect a good taco gets.  The tacos at Tacos Mexico are some of the best!
     I honestly recommend Tacos Mexico in Las Vegas for anyone who wants to get real authentic old fashioned Mexican street vendor style tacos!  mmmmmmmmm tacos!  ...  Shawna
