Rolled Tacos and a Bean & Cheese Burrito To-Go at Roberto's Taco Shop, Las Vegas!

Yummy Mexican food to-go from Roberto's Taco Shop!

Roberto's Taco Shop is a long time favorite taco stand of Las Vegas residents!  There are several Roberto's Taco Shop locations in the Las Vegas Valley.  I chose to go to the location at 4275 North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas by the intersection of Craig Road.
Lets see, I have dined at Roberto's Taco Stand locations on Boulder Highway, Sahara and nearly every point in the Las Vegas Valley in the past.  I have even dined at one of the Roberto's Taco Shop locations on my way to moving to Las Vegas, way back when!
Everybody likes Roberto's Taco Shops!  The service is fast, the dining area is clean, the food tastes good and they have a nice menu.  The prices are also nice!  I always liked their bean and cheese burrito, because it was huge and very filling.
To my amazement, the price of the bean and cheese burrito was the same as it was before I moved to Chicago a few years ago.  I saw the price on the board and instantly ordered the simple bean and cheese burrito, just like I did back in my early days in Las Vegas, when I was struggling to make ends meet.  When hungry and pinching pennies, Roberto's bean and cheese burrito is a lifesaver!  There is nothing like a big healthy bean and cheese burrito for putting gas in the tank for a long hard day of work!  Ha Ha Ha!
Roberto's Taco Shop is famous for their rolled tacos.  Many people call this kind a taco a flauta or flute.  The rolled tacos are a little bit too big to be called taquitos.  Rolled tacos are another great style of Mexican taco.  The meat filling is placed in the tortilla and it is rolled tightly into a tube shape, before frying.  Sour cream and cheese is the garnish.  Guacamole costs extra.  I ordered my rolled tacos with guacamole!  The rolled tacos were crisp and easy too eat.  Rolled tacos are easy to dip in sauces and I do like hot chile pepper sauce with every bite.
The food at Roberto's Taco Shop is very mildly spiced, so the food appeals to those that have no desire to break out into a sweat from eating hot chile peppers.  In fact, the food at Roberto's Taco Shop even appeals to Mexicans that have milder tastes.  Not every Mexican eats hot spicy food!  Some like it hot and some like it mellow!
Like all good Mexican taco stands, Roberto's Taco Shop has a traditional self serve condiment bar.  Escabeche of carrots, onion, cilantro and jalapenos is offered at the condiment bar.  You can see in the pictures just how nice the escabeche looks!  Sliced radishes and lime wedges are standard accompaniments.  Salsa verde and red salsa picante are also self serve items.  When looking at the condiment bar, you will see why Mexican food is rated as the world's healthiest cuisine!
I highly recommend Roberto's Taco Shop to locals and visitors of Las Vegas!  The food is consistently good, the service is fast, the clerks are friendly and the prices are nice.  The flavors of Roberto's Taco Stand food is tame enough for anyone to enjoy!  Yum!  ...  Shawna
